May this find you healthy, safe and protected.
Last week was incredible. Still smiling from the overwhelming love, knowledge and community present at last weeks ADRSA conference. Over 500 people registered and online globally to experience the impact of gender, sexuality, culture and African Traditional Religions/spiritualities. We gathered, we learned, we laughed, we danced, we honor ancestors, Olodumare, Orisa, & God/desses.
Thank you Iya Funlayo E. Wood-Menzies, PhD
If you missed last weeks ADRSA (African and Diasporic Religious Studies Association) 2020 conference Wind & Fire: Honoring the Divine Feminine and Masculine in Africana Religions you are in luck.
I will have a free screening today of Afromystic E.P. Watch all day online. See what beautiful and empowering work we created last year. Contact us to bring the film and projects to your community and institution online and when science officially states its safe to go outside.
Stay tuned for future screenings and artist talks with the director and choreographer of Afromystic E.P.
Looking forward to being in virtual community with you all.
Warmly
Seyi
